The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong analytical problem solving skills in past experience. Ability to work in one or more applications or operating systems; ability to handle multiple assignments and strong orientation to detail; Ability to use discretion, judgment and initiative to make independent decisions; ability to handle a diverse group of internal customers; working knowledge of teaching technologies, training techniques, strong oral and written communication skills and an aptitude for explaining technical information; Strong project management skills.
This ISD AV Spec I will be responsible for:
AV systems support and maintenance (conference rooms, equipment & facilities).
Monitoring and respond to all AV mailbox correspondence and Remedy tickets.
Maintaining loaner equipment and track all equipment signed out.
Coordinating the TV network support including content servers, scheduling and maintenance.
Event set up and support.
End-user AV training.
TV network basic support.
Supporting AV Specialist Level 2 where needed.
Managing all duplication and office services.
Supporting scheduled departmental meetings on a weekly basis.
Answering incoming phone inquiries/requests.
To qualify, you must have:
Experience with audio visual systems.
Experience with audio production and sound reinforcement fundamentals.
Strong desire to learn and take personal responsibility for departmental success.
Presentation of a professional appearance at all times.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work and interact professionally with all corporate levels.
Excellent customer service, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
