SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT FOR FACULTY AND RESEARCH SERVICES (FRS) , Sloan School of Management , to perform complex and diverse administrative duties in support of department-wide goals as well as specific subunits of FRS. Will work closely with and directly support the FRS director and be responsible for project tracking, agenda planning and scheduling for team meetings, the drafting of business documents, and financial administration of FRS accounts and related budgets. Will also serve as a liaison to a variety of internal and external stakeholders and offices. Responsibilities will include organizing FRS team meetings and scheduling other group meetings for the director; handling all aspects of FRS financial administration; gathering, organizing, and communicating a range of information pertaining to the goals, planning, and performance of FRS subunits and supporting team efforts to develop and maintain FRS performance indicators connected to departmental operations; providing advanced administrative support for multiple projects, requiring in-depth understanding of MIT and Sloan policies and procedures; collaborating with the director, faculty affairs manager, and staff in the Office of the Dean to organize events and support strategic initiatives related to enabling faculty activities; and supporting the director with developing an emerging approach for research services, with particular attention to MIT Sloan centers and initiatives.
REQUIRED : at least five years' relevant experience; proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders and systems; experience with financial administration and project management; and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
