OPERATIONS COORDINATOR, MARTIN TRUST CENTER FOR MIT ENTREPRENEURSHIP , Sloan School of Management , to oversee center operations and develop processes to improve the efficiency and reliability of the its physical and digital systems and resources. Will own the day-to-day operations of the center and serve as the first point of contact for students and staff when things are not functioning properly or need to be improved; serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, vendors, and repairpersons, both internal and external, when major and minor projects and repairs are required; be responsible for promptly communicating issues or outages that affect students and staff; develop, maintain, and improve upon process documentation to improve day-to-day operational efficiency of the center and make onboarding of new staff quick and seamless; act as primary point of contact for office platforms such as FileMaker databases, contact management system, and advising ticketing platform; and manage space requests for outside groups wishing to use the center's space.
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; at least three years' experience in a related field; strong computer and technical skills, including proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel), Adobe Creative Suite, SAP, and FileMaker Pro and the ability to learn new programs quickly with little or individual instruction; discretion and judgment with confidential information/issues; and attention to detail. Must be able to organize, set priorities, follow through, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision; multitask; work with multiple stakeholders concurrently; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; and follow and improve upon current processes and design, implement, and document processes for new tasks.
