The Ball State University Libraries are seeking an experienced Library Data and Repository Analyst to support and maintain a mature digital library program that is a member of a dedicated group that provides modern technology, digital scholarship, and data solutions for the faculty and students using resources, collections, services and programs in the University Libraries. Ball State University Libraries includes Bracken Library and branch libraries in the Cooper Science Building and Architecture Building. The Libraries employ 48 professionals and 68 staff employees. With over 1.1 million volumes and 300 databases, the Libraries provide access to a full spectrum of scholarly resources and also offers vibrant learning space for over 1.5 million annual visitors.
Minimum qualifications: MLS/MLIS/MIS degree with emphasis in digital library technologies, user service platforms, or human-computer interaction from an accredited college or university. At least three years providing technical support for online library solutions; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications: Additional advanced degrees. Experience with managing CONTENTdm, DSpace, Alma or other online library solutions in an academic environment; experience in an academic library.
