The purpose of this position is to provide administrative management support of the client's capital project contract process. Role will include contract drafting, vendor data management and coordination with project managers and vendors to deliver on contract requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluates and administers agreements for contracted services including drafting new contracts, change orders, contract renewals, and contract amendments. Coordinates with Contracts Manager to ensure accuracy of contract provisions and compliance. May help coordinate contract closeout activities.
Communicates contract policy and practices to project teams. Ensures contract review, approval and execution with Contracts Manager, project management, account leadership, vendors and required client representatives in accordance with appropriate policy and procedure.
Reviews solicitations and prepares and administers routine correspondence for proposals, bids, contract modifications, negotiation memoranda, and contract performance and compliance.
Assists Contracts Manager and/or Sourcing Director with internal or external project teams on issues and developments relative to assigned or special projects; may include research and the creation of presentations and reports.
Coordinates compliance procedures with vendors including licensing and insurance certificates.
Maintains contract database and provides required scheduled and on demand reporting.
Monitors and evaluates vendor performance utilizing established processes and systems.
Coordinates contractual support for special facility maintenance and repair projects.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required preferred. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred. Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training, commercial construction experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
CAPITAL PROJECT KNOWLEDGE
Basic knowledge of capital project terms and principles is preferred. Experience with project management and construction contracts is desired, but not required.
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience using eBuilder or similar project management software is preferred.
Ability to achieve working level skills in either a contracts database.
Ability to perform basic financial reviews.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
