Our Application synthesizes Analytics, Portfolio intelligence in real-time and delivers a data-led starting point for making informed portfolio strategy, help right investment decisions. We need to enable micro services architecture providing data and business logic as a service as well user experience on the cloud platform. The team you would join is based in Richardson, TX.
Writing code and unit tests, working with API specs and automation, identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies
Part of Agile scrum team and partner with Global Architecture team, business stakeholders, product manager to design, develop, maintain, and upgrade full-stack client-facing applications for Services/Web and Mobile Apps according to product roadmap, adhering to platform digital strategy.
Responsible for conceptualizing and designing detailed solutions for specific projects enabling the organization to meet business objectives and the architecture is defined through the Discovery process associated with each sprint mentor and guide team members to success within the team Identify, design and build reusable software components, utilities across various applications meeting non-functional requirements for product and platform.
Perform technical aspects of software development for assigned applications including design, developing prototypes, and Lead code reviews and automated testing.
Influence team members by challenging status quo, demonstrating risk taking, and implementing innovative ideas
Research and maintain a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field such as information systems, mathematics, or computer science or equivalent work experience. Requires technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes. Typically has 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Consideration given to equivalent combination of education and experience.
Thorough understanding of XML, JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structure fundamentals
Experience with adaptive and responsive development techniques
Aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts
Demonstrated Hands-on expertise in Agile design, development and automated unit functional/non-functional testing
Knowledge in implementing RESTful APIs with JSON, Streaming with data structure fundamentals with Swagger implementation, HATEOAS principles.
Mandatory experience of enabling continuous integration/deployment with tools like NPM, Jenkins, Octopus, Maven, Mockito, JMeter in cloud environment.
Knowledge in objected oriented analysis and Micro Services, Web stacks and Azure & AWS PaaS.
