The mission of the Information Technology Group (ITG) is to develop, implement and maintain technology-based services and solutions enabling OHSU to effectively manage information to accomplish its missions. This position is responsible for performance that promotes excellent customer service, overall service excellence philosophy and success of the clinical enterprise.
The Tuality IT Site Manager is responsible for:
The coordination and communication of IT services at Tuality Healthcare, acting as a liaison between the OHSU Information Technology Group and Tuality management.
Direct supervision of IT clinical staff providing on-site support to Tuality clinical users. The on-site staff are the local \u201ceyes and ears\u201d for all ITG staff, understanding and documenting Tuality-specific system and user requirements.
Being the primary point of contact for issue identification and resolution for Tuality executive leadership, understanding which IT resources across OHSU should be called upon to address Tuality business needs, and escalating as needed to achieve service levels.
Developing, tracking, and publishing periodic metrics used to monitor IT performance against negotiated service levels. In cooperation with Tuality management, evaluate and prioritize change requests and submit/follow up with OHSU. Publish and socialize metrics across Tuality management.
Supporting Hillsboro-based ITG employees who work for a different manager, but require an on-site manager to make rapid or expedient decisions (e.g., purchase requests, equipment deployment/deliveries, etc.)
The Site Manager will maintain the viability of the Cerner Millenium system during Tuality\u2019s transition to Epic, and works with Cerner to extract needed information to be imported into the data archival solution. The position leads ongoing departmental quality improvement and assessment efforts, budgeting and financial management, staff recruitment and training, and ensures system readiness for accrediting agencies. The Site Manager also tracks and manages vendor contracts, working with customers to identify opportunities to improve functionality and reduce costs.
Working with and through key stakeholders, the position will lead projects to improve the clinical, operational, and financial performance of Tuality. This work includes project identification, business case development, scoping, budgeting, staffing, communications, monitoring, and control. Standard ITG project management processes will be used to manage projects. The Tuality IT Site Manager will be an advocate for standardization of processes and systems across the OHSU/Tuality/Adventist system.
