The primary purpose of the Student Accounts Administrator is to manage all aspects of student financial records including accounting, billing and collection of all tuition and fees and to coordinate and apply the application of Title IV loans, alternative loans and scholarships/awards in compliance with the US Department of Education and School policies. The Student Accounts Administrator is the primary contact for the Student Accounts Office and is responsible for counseling and assisting students in matters related to the student’s account. Additionally, this position will act as a finance team lead to ensure the accuracy of tuition billing and refund/liability processes, while working cross-functionally with various departments to ensure these processes are documented and completed according to their predetermined terms.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; 3-5 years of accounts receivable experience including working with Title IV in a higher education institution; although strongly related experience will be considered or equivalent combination of education and experience; demonstrated knowledge of and working with accounting systems; excellent communication, customer service, project management and organizational skills; and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work during high volumes of student transactions and questions.
