The Training and Instructional Design Coordinator is responsible for supporting the production and delivery of all onsite and online training courses, by providing logistical support and technical assistance. The position also assists the Director of Training with managing subject matter experts, developing course content, copyediting training materials, analyzing training evaluation data, and supporting the annual budgeting process.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Director of Training with planning and managing the production and operation of onsite and online training courses and products.
Coordinate the logistics for all onsite and online training.
Work closely with training faculty and subject matter experts to prepare for scheduled training courses, including updating course materials, defining detailed agendas/outlines and room set up/AV requirements and collaborating with relevant departments.
Assist the Director of Training with managing instructor and development contract processes and deliverable deadlines.
Coordinate with Member Services and Accounting departments regarding registration-related issues.
Prepare, send, and track instructor contracts for presentation and course development.
Maintain course audit files, including creating and distributing audit surveys and tracking survey results.
Provides timely, proactive customer support for both internal and external stakeholders in responding to questions and concerns, recommending appropriate training, assisting with registration issues, etc.
Review invoices/expense reports from instructors for accuracy and submit for payment.
Provide the Director of Training with input for the annual budgeting process.
Maintain the inventory of GMPI products, including publishing the annual updates to the GMP mini-regs and producing customized mini-regs.
Process training course evaluations and issue CEUs.
Assist with transfer of course materials to online learning and other relevant modalities.
Answer inquiries regarding public training as required.
Staff public training events as assigned.
Manage training events and associated processes in iMIS.
Using Real Magnet create and distribute Know Before You Go for all training event attendees.
Update the training web pages in Drupal as needed.
Provide backup support to maintain and regularly update courses and training materials in the learning management system.
Manage publication inventory and reporting for training events.
Stay current with technologies and programs that benefit the Training department.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree with a concentration in training, communications, instructional design or related field.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience with training or instructional design, preferred.
Knowledge and documented experience in handling and working with sensitive and high-level professionals.
Excellent technology skills, including in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Adobe Acrobat.
Demonstrated knowledge of training/teaching technology including e-learning software such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Audacity, audio/video editing tools, etc. is a plus.

Ability to travel nationally to support training on behalf of ISPE.
