This position is in the Office of the University Registrar, located in the Women's Building at the Danforth Campus.
Serve as both an SIS technical resource for the office, and a support person for end users of the Student Information System (SIS). Using a demonstrated working knowledge of SIS and its related ecosystems and excellent communication skills, this position functions within a team of individuals dedicated to improving the effectiveness with which student records information is managed in a service oriented environment
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains various production calendars, wiki Help sites, and control tables, incorporating deadlines, process dates, and selected functions relative to SIS and WUCRSL.
Provides comprehensive user support on University-wide student information systems, including SISAdmin, WUCRSL, WebFAC, EGrades, and WebSTAC. Provide system management and support as needed. Serve as back-up for academic event scheduling using the EMS application.
Oversees and coordinates archival record storage; scan, index and upload old hardcopy transcript records through completion of the digital scanning project.
Maintain and oversee student and non-student entity records, including adding new staff and faculty to SIS, performing name and SSN changes/updates, and merging SIS records when duplicates have been created for the same person.
Provide back-up support for front desk.�������
Perform other duties as assigned.
Some college required; prior experience with computer systems and customer service.
Bachelor’s degree and some college/university administration experience preferred.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
The hiring range for this position is $17.14 - $21.85 per hour.
