The incumbent will provide administrative and program assistance/support, with limited supervision, to the Major Gift Officers for both the Coon Rapids and Cambridge Campus Foundations. The incumbent will oversee all the daily tasks and operations of the two foundations including donor agreements, daily recording of donations, event management, proper database management, and all other aspects to provide support/leadership for the Foundations. The incumbent will maintain effective and efficient office operations and donor service for all users of the Foundations. The incumbent will insure all Foundation donors and students receive the highest level of service from all forms of communication.
Along with these duties, this position will be dealing with confidential information and maintaining a database with accurate information as well as maintaining effective and efficient office operations and client service for all users of the Anoka Ramsey Foundations.
Knowledge of English sufficient to perform the job duties described above, using reading, writing and speaking skills
Customer Service skills sufficient to respond effectively and professionally to clients who have questions about the Foundations operations and procedures (in person, phone or via email)
Keyboarding skills sufficient to type a variety of documents accurately at 45 wpm using Microsoft Word or equivalent software
Knowledge of Word processing skills sufficient to compose and edit a variety of documents, contracts and reports
Knowledge of database management software sufficient to enter and retrieve data
Customer Service Skills (phone, in person, public presentations)
English (speaking, writing and reading)
Typing/Keyboarding (45 wpm)
Experience working for a Foundation or being part of a fund raising organization
Experience with Charitable Remainder Trust
Project Management experience and dealing with multiple projects / deadlines at one time
Strong organizational and planning skills
Knowledge of MnSCU policies and procedures
Experience with electronic documentation
Experience working with individuals who are from diverse backgrounds
Ability to organize and prioritize projects and tasks and work on a team or independently with limited supervision

About ANOKA RAMSEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Anoka-Ramsey Community College (ARCC) is a multi-campus institution and a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. The Coon Rapids Campus is located on the banks of the Mississippi River twentymiles north of downtown Minneapolis. The Cambridge Campus is located on west Highway 95 on the Rum River in Cambridge. Beginning in 1965 with 600 students in a wing of Centennial High School in Circle Pines, Anoka-Ramsey Community College has grown considerably. In 1967 the college moved to the current Coon Rapids Campus of approximately 103 acres. The Cambridge Campus opened in 1978 and has shown consistent growth in enrollment and facilities. In addition, students may complete many ARCC college courses at convenient off-site locations throughout neighboring communities. During the 2008-2009 academic year, more than 11,000 students completed credit classes at the college.
