The Business Analyst will be a part of the Enterprise Project’s Business Process team and will assist in the preparation, communication, and implementation of a cloud-based enterprise resource planning solution (student, financials, and human capital management), one of the most visible and complex initiatives being undertaken by the organization. Participates in the discovery (scope/planning), architect (design), configuration and prototyping (development), testing, and implementation phases of the project life cycle for Ohio State’s business process transformation initiatives involving multiple technologies, systems, business unit functions and stakeholders within the scope of the project for financial business processes. The Analyst position will conduct reviews of business units’ organizational structures, workflow designs, processes, and systems and help to identify recommendations as to how to improve efficiencies and effectiveness with the ultimate goal of simplifying disparate processes by identifying shared processes. The Analyst will support the objectives of the Business Process team, document processes and requirements, perform system configuration, coordinate, plan and execute testing efforts, and use a variety of project management tools to track and report status and progress. The successful candidate is an excellent communicator, critical thinker, motivated with a positive attitude, and able to work independently to gather and evaluate data.
Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; three years of experience in system implementation role(s) where responsible for business processes; ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and tasks; ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees, peers, executive leadership, customers, vendors, technical team members and others; demonstrated experience identifying and documenting business requirements, testing and implementation; knowledge of financial, student, or human resources business processes.
Experience with complex, large-scale ERP, preferably cloud ERP/specifically Workday, implementations. Understanding of HCM/Payroll business processes; background with higher education, and/or with healthcare/academic medical center experience; PMP, CAPM, Lean/Six Sigma, and/or related certification(s).
Target Salary: $71,811.00 - $87,769.00 Annually
