The individual will have primary responsibility for the performance of the manufacturing process at the Hartwell GA site. This individual will serve as an active member of the Hartwell Leadership Team leading the site's continuous improvement efforts, employee development processes, asset effectiveness, and operation excellence projects. The role of the Production Supervisor will include managing the production planning system to ensure the BASF Colors and Effects customers have the product they order on time. The Production Supervisor is also responsible for SAP production processes that ensure the factory is represented accurately in the SAP accounting and inventory systems.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You...
Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience.
5 years in manufacturing environment required.
Leadership and demonstrated success in working within a team environment across departmental boundaries.
Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, and Responsible Care Management Systems.
Excellent computer application skills to include Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
Understanding of computer network components and project management.
Internal auditor experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with operations personnel, site support groups, and customer representatives.
Ability to manage numerous complex problems simultaneously and deal with changing priorities.
