Provide and develop novel bioinformatic tools and perform complex analysis of next generation sequencing and custom array platform based comparative genomic hybridization experiments. This Research Specialist D will work in the Genetic Diagnostic laboratory of Dr. Arupa Ganguly. The employee will perform all aspects of molecular techniques associated with human disease associated genes, real-time digital PCR analysis for gene dosage and ultra low – level mosaicism analysis and other relevant functions of the laboratory. In addition develop/curate/maintain databases of disease associated variations for internal reference.
