Position Description CTO designs, builds and operates Bank of America's enterprise technology infrastructure, providing technology products and services used throughout the bank and by all lines of business. The group also is responsible for global information security and technology vendor management. Key Responsibilities
Work within a team of dedicated project managers and engineers to deliver hosting solutions within the technology infrastructure environment for internal and external clients
Deliver a wide variety of infrastructure projects including virtualization, premises builds, data centre migration, network security, desktop migrations.
Focus on Project Management initiatives in Asia Pacific with an emphasis on:
Technology systems infrastructure deployments / upgrades
Understand the design/ purpose of each application or infrastructure, define resource requirements to be able to collaborate efficiently with the other Technology Infrastructure technical teams to deliver high visibility projects
Facilitate meetings among all stake holders/ vendors regularly and produce status update reports periodically
Provide forecast costing for initiatives and maintain the budget throughout the project along with requisite administrative tasks
5+ years of experience within an Investment Bank or Financial Services Vendor
Excellent communication/ interpersonal skills
Confident and effective/ calm communicator in both technical and business forums
Highly motivated, creative, analytical thinker with excellent documentation skills
Time to market approach, capable of exceeding the expectations of clients
Diversified knowledge of infrastructure and comfortable managing infrastructure projects with good understanding of business flow
Able to work well with people from various background and able to appreciate differences in the diverse environment
Familiar with product (network and servers) deployments within a Banking environment
Willing to work irregular hours based on the location of clients during the project deployment including weekends where required
Able to operate effectively in a time to market focused environment.
