This position plays a critical role in using digital strategies to position the Center for Corporate Citizenship at Boston College as a leader in the areas of education, training and influencing global companies to provide positive benefit to society. These objectives are met through attracting site traffic & integrating technology into marketing, branding and communications strategies that engage and retain the target audience.
The individual must have a systemic understanding, appreciation and passion for digital technology including content marketing, email marketing, social networks, community engagement, and SEO(organic and paid). S/he will also be responsible for identifying key performance indicators to constantly analyze and measure site and email marketing performance, based on key performance metrics. The key to success will be his/her passion for digital communications & his/her ability to keep up-to-date on latest technology trends as well as ability to implement a defined strategy into overall communications practices. Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $61,400 to $76,750; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
· Experience developing digital communications strategies to strengthen market position of organization, engagement and serve the needs of customers.
· Functional knowledge of web design and development
·Functional knowledge of Google Adwords & Bing Ads platforms (including retargeting)
·Demonstrated experience using web analytics, social and email marketing platforms and developing communications and user strategies based pre-defines success metrics.
·Functional knowledge of marketing principles and practice.
·Ability to hire and negotiate with vendors (freelance writers, designers, printers)
·Writing and editing of articles and blogs within editing platform
·Persuasive in written and oral communications
·Ability to manage multiple deadlines
·Basic knowledge graphic design
·Basic knowledge of Marketing Automation Platforms (Hubspot preferred)
·Basic knowledge of CMS management (Adobe Experience preferred)
·Proficient in Microsoft Office, PageMaker, Quark, HTML, Web design programs
