The Managing Director of Digital and Brand Strategy, the top marketing position for UK HealthCare, works to fulfill UK HealthCare's mission and vision by managing and directing a marketing team focused on elevating the UK HealthCare brand through a robust strategy. It includes developing a strong focus on digital marketing while also elevating traditional marketing tactics including advertising and external communications. This role will be ultimately responsible for development and execution of the brand strategy for the entire enterprise, as well as working in cooperation with key stakeholders across the university. Additionally, this position provides a key leadership role that implements key efforts emanating from the office of the Executive Vice President for Health Affairs.
The minimum qualifications for this position are a Master's Degree and 10 years of experience in marketing, brand management, directing and/or leading marketing teams. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications as well as most CMS platforms; have the ability to lead others, taking into account divergent demands while managing scope and timelines; demonstrates strong analytical and qualitative research experience; be well organized; have exceptional communication skills (written & verbal); strong ability to engage and motivate others; active listening skills; enjoy working independently as well as in a group; and a thorough understanding of resource and employee management.
