Christiana Care is currently seeking Project Manager to join our Behavioral Health Administration team. Seeking a self-motivated individual with the ability to handle complex projects in clinical pathways. While you will mainly be at the Wilmington Hospital, there is rotation to the Christiana Hospital, as needed.
Assists Behavioral Health Leadership to achieve departmental and service line goals by managing key projects and initiatives by coordinating, implementing and managing fiscal and human resource activities. Provides leadership and analysis for Behavioral Health and Service Line projects by working collaboratively with faculty and administrative leaders across the department and Christiana Care. Member of the Behavioral Health Service Line Leadership Team.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages key transformational projects across the Behavioral Health Service Line.
Contributes to project planning and execution through the use of continuous performance improvement and A3 thinking.
Contributes to the clarification and communication of key service line projects to stakeholders using data analysis, PowerPoint, etc.
Serves as an active member of the Behavioral Health SLED team by providing performance improvement support.
Coordinates and manages administrative operations and support functions related to ongoing projects and data collection for the Behavioral Health Service Line to ensure compliance with established objectives and practices.
Works collaboratively with other service line to ensure consistency across teams and goal attainment.
Supports other key Behavioral Health Service Line projects, as assigned.
Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related degree. Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred.
Three to Five years of project centered clinical pathway experience.
3+ years of Behavioral Health experience preferred
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Knowledge of Performance Improvement and Quality methodologies and techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Ability to travel up to 25% locally between different offices
