The Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University is accepting applications for a Lecturer to teach BUSAD 203 – Careers in Business and Professional Employment Preparation at the undergraduate level. The course educates and trains students in 9 competency areas related to professional development. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to:
Identify personal strengths and determination of career interests for workplace success
Produce quality marketing materials utilized in the job search process
Demonstrate platform skills
Effectively job seek, interview, network and evaluate job and internship offers
Demonstrate knowledge of making connections to develop professional relationships.
The content of BUSAD 203 is standardized across all sections of the course and the applicants chosen for the position must be willing to teach the course in a coordinated fashion.
Required Education and Experience:
MBA degree or Master's degree in accounting, finance, human resources, industrial relations, management, marketing, management information systems, supply chain management, or a related field
Preferred Education and Experience:
Experience in teaching university level business courses.
Course load and term of contract to be determined by departmental needs.
