Provides check lists for each event to ensure all of the team is aware of their role/responsibility and operations run smoothly.
Keeps accurate notes and details of events from past history to reference for future events.
Successfully support the advisory, marketing teams, event activities, classes and initiatives
Liaison with marketing to monitor guest counts, registration process, invite process
Primary staff user of bookings systems – EMS and intranet system; ensure all are up-to-date and maintained
Manages the process of evaluating all of our programs
Provides support to the Presidents Innovation Challenge lead to assist event planning and execution of the time line.
Oversees mail, kitchen stock, general cleanliness of all of the facilities in the i-lab and the Lobby to ensure a wow experience
Works with marketing to help our space be more appealing and user friendly
Developing new policies that improve our efficiency, i.e. meeting room policy and enforcement
Primary contact with support departments and facility vendors
Critical support to any redesign initiatives involving our space
Oversee the concierge function in the organization and continually improve that process.
Community Relations Partner: As part of our cooperative agreement with the community we want to be a helpful member of the Allston community. Provide space, education and social events for the community. This role is the primary contact for all partners to assist in detailing events that occur within i-lab space. Standard partners and events include:
SCORE Executive Meeting and general meetings
ABCDC Home Buying
Ice Cream Social with the community
Primary contact for all academic classes held at the i-lab
Primary contact with faculty and Teaching Assistants
Offer support on-site
Liaison with Security, insuring appropriate systems are in place to identify guests and students.
Responsibility for Advisory Board Meetings
Other Project Management assignments as needed
