The Assistant Nurse Manager, in collaboration with a Nurse Manager, will be responsible for managerial and supervisory functions of RNC, Nurse Navigators, CC, and TC staff members at the Knight Cancer Institute. This position will function primarily on day shift and will work with the Nurse Manager on projects to improve the complex coordination of care for the cancer patient. The Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager will partner with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective coordination of patient care and compliance with administrative and clinical policies and procedures. This position will support the Care Coordination teams through daily operations as the unit transitions to combined operations between CHH and CHM. In addition this position will perform managerial activities including performance evaluations, employee mentoring, project management and roll out of quality and safety initiatives, ensure adherence to hospital and clinical standards of performance, and human resource management.
