Family Pet Hospital & 24 Hour Pet Emergency Centre is a fast growing 6 veterinarian, 10 awesome registered animal health technologist practice. The practice also has phenomenal vet assistants and an incredibly skilled and engaging practice manager who goes out of her way to ensure the team feels included in the hospital’s decision-making. The hospital is organized with specific department heads and are a well-organized group of 30 compassionate, happy and hardworking pet enthusiasts. We have a high tech facility that includes CT, DR, ultrasound, endoscopes, digital dental x-ray, stem cell technology and full in-house lab. Our team focus is excellence in medicine and surgery, preventative health, emergency and urgency care 24/7, and special interests include dentistry, feline medicine, orthopaedic surgery, imaging and stem cell therapy. The hospital is seeking veterinarians who may also have a unique area of interest or skill that they’d like to bring with them or further develop while at FPH.
Our hospital is a modern 7,500 sqf centrally located high end facility with its own outdoor cozy pet park, and includes isolation ward, family (Euth) room, 5 exam rooms, double dental suite, three surgery rooms, stem cell lab, two DR rooms, conference room, vet office etc. and staff lounge. Lethbridge offers a wide range of top quality recreational activities, schools and sports. Everything from Mountaineering, baseball, golf, skiing and yoga to fly fishing, riding, basketball, hockey, swim clubs, soccer, surfing, anything outdoors and much more. We have endless trail systems along the Oldman River which cuts through the City. Lethbridge is a small busy city located 1 hour from the Rocky Mountains, 1 hour from the US border and 2 hours south of Calgary. Sunny southern Alberta is a little windy sometimes which is the reason we are also a little warmer and sunnier in the winter than the rest of the West. We service a large area and therefore see pets from all over Southern Alberta in our emergency department, as well as in our orthopedic and imaging department lead by Dr. Jacob Adserballe, as well as in our Gold Standard Feline Practise headed by Dr. Kate Lupton.
$110k base wage plus production bonuses, group health and dental plan, CE and CE days, flexible holidays and more. The total remuneration package opportunity is well over $150,000 annually for an experienced and highly motivated veterinarian.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in both feline and canine emergency medicine and be OK to work after-hours shifts and some weekends for the first year.
