TIPQC Project Manager Job Summary
This position is a key member of a statewidequality improvement collaborative responsible for implementing major projectsto change or enhance business practices, processes and systems across thestate, including the organization and management of the infrastructure ofa statewide perinatal organization. This position will helpcoordinate all infrastructure of the organization, including internal andexternal communication, day-to-day functions/management, and meeting and teamlogistics. Additional areas of responsibility will include budgeting& grant writing, project management including recruiting & follow-up,as well as overall management of the health of the organization.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
1. Directs core elements of the improvementinitiative, including organizing statewide conferences, monthly webinars, andmaintaining a database of key outcome and process measures submitted byparticipating hospitals.
2. Works closely with senior administrators tofacilitate the team's work and coordinate or manage the team's initiatives andprojects.
3. Develops and maintains appropriatecommunication systems to support the initiative, including regular newsletters,project website, and email list-serve distribution lists.
4. Partners with sponsors and team leaders tostrategize team project plans. Focuses on critical success factors, budget,project milestones and deliverables and develops contingency plans.
6. Leads project team meetings, including areview of action plans and tracking of project milestones. Updates action plansweekly and prompts accountable individuals to insure timely task completion.Supports activities of project teams and maintains accurate documentation ofteam minutes and deliverables.
Requirements: Bachelorâs Degree, 3 years PM experience
Candidate with public health, social orhealth science, epidemiology, public policy or related field, and QualityImprovement background is preferred. This position requires strongorganizational skills and attention to detail, the ability to workindependently and on a self-directed basis, and excellent communication skills.Ideal candidate will have prior experience in maternal and child healthepidemiology, quality improvement, and/or working with hospitals, and will alsohave the ability to manage large web-based secure data systems and reportingcapabilities.
