This Project Manager, Applications Support, Patient Financial Services will be responsible for:
Leading and overseeing multiple projects or one larger project or high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration for Patient Financial Services.
Serving as in-house project consultant to the administrative, financial, operational, and clinical leadership of the Hospitals.
Facilitating and coordinating analytical support to administrative, financial, operational and clinical resource analysis and bench-marking initiatives and advises on issues related to process improvement and cost management.
Focusing efforts on improvement of the Hospital's Revenue Cycle and associated Professional functions.
To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Science, Business Administration or related field. Minimum of three to five years relevant experience, a Masters degree related field, one year experience managing multiple highly complex projects and Project Management Professional Certification or other relevant certification is preferred.
The ability to effectively manage multiple demands and projects and/or proposals simultaneously within assigned department/division and to persuade and negotiate with peer‑level department heads on issues and programs that impact assigned department as well as several other large departments/divisions.
Advanced knowledge of software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and manual and web-based applications for collecting/ reporting data.
The demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement and/or process improvement activities and additionally for research efforts, lead and conduct basic secondary research to produce advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis.
