The Employee and Manager Effectiveness (EME) practice area is Harvard's central strategic arm that designs, develops, implements, and supports inclusive university-wide best practices for the career and professional growth and development of employees at all levels of the organization. EME is one of three practice areas that together comprise the Center of Workplace Development (CWD) which provides tools, programs, coaching, and consulting to Harvard employees and administrative and faculty leaders. This position provides high-level program coordination, enrollment, engagement, and customer service support for manager and leadership development programs and initiatives across CWD. The Program Coordinator facilitates community building for manager and leadership development cohorts using social network tools in the Harvard Training Portal and may facilitate New Employee Orientation and other workshops. This position reports to the EME Assistant Director of Manager and Leadership Development.
Duties and Responsibilities: Customer Service Provides primary customer service support for the Harvard Leadership Development Programs (HLDP). This includes monitoring the email@example.com mail box and service tickets routed via the Harvard Training Portal. Responds to all inquiries in a timely manner either directly, or through close collaboration with CWD colleagues. Maintains service-oriented relationships with HR points of contact at schools/units, vendors, instructors, and faculty. Oversees enrollment and helps to reconcile eligibility questions/concerns.
Program Material Management Orders, obtains copyright, produces and distributes curriculum materials. Facilitates delivery of materials to facilitators and workshop participants. Makes content updates to materials as directed by Program Managers. Helps to maintain updated materials by reviewing content for editorial quality and consistency across curriculum and to meet both CWD and Harvard brand standards. Administer and produce 360 reports, MBTI, and other pre-class assessments. Creates program and event collateral for marketing purposes.
Program and Project Scheduling Management Manages the scheduling of the quarterly/yearly Manager and Leadership Development Calendar with facilitators and facilities. Schedules guest speakers and panelists for workshops and seminars. Coordinates annual instructor meetings. Administers communication plan to ensure programs and events are fully enrolled. Prepares and maintains schedules for project activities and events; secures resources.
Research and Data Summary Conducts research and writes summaries for best practices in management, leadership and organization effectiveness. Summarizes organization assessment data (Qualtrics surveys, focus groups, and interview notes). Gathers, reviews, and summarizes evaluation data for reporting. Identifies trends. Learning & Community Building Facilitation & Instruction May facilitate CWD in-person New Employee Orientation and may back up facilitation of other workshops. Coordinates and administers webinars. Facilitates social networks to support leadership cohorts both inside and outside of the Harvard Training Portal.
Serves as primary backup for Registration Coordinator

Required Education and Experience:
High school degree or equivalent
A minimum of four years of office, academic, and/or non-profit work experience.
A minimum of one year project management and/or event planning experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft products: Outlook Mail & Calendar, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in at least one Adobe Creative Suite tool (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Experience producing communications and marketing materials.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience with Qualtrics
Proficiency with WebEx or similar webinar platform.
Experience with in-person and webinar facilitation.
Able to lift up to 25 lbs. and transport materials to classrooms.
