1. Oversee classrooms for situations where media services assistance is required. Manage and initiate action to resolve remotely or to dispatch classroom support specialist personnel to the room. 2. Utilize sophisticated equipment including broadcast video switchers and robotic PTZ cameras to record events and classes from the Media Control Center (MCC). 3. Monitor tickets and maintain logs. 4. Serve as lead for assigned events. This includes consulting with event organizers to assess and coordinate the media services support needed for the program. 5. Manage, troubleshoot and resolve complex media systems for throughout the school including classrooms and all event spaces. 6. Ensure high-level support for all classrooms and event spaces. 7. Provide on floor event support as assigned. 8. Provide complex support including assigning and monitoring video conferencing codecs, touch panel assistance via the remote console, monitor lecture capture recordings, and assistance with high-quality classroom and auditorium recordings. 9. Produce high production quality recordings and VC codec assignments. 10. Produce live broadcasts of videos to large and global audience. 11. Evaluate system status and perform preventative maintenance on classroom and MCC equipment. 12. Maintain optimal condition of studio, field and classroom multimedia equipment. Stay abreast of the latest AV technologies and make recommendations for equipment upgrades and additions. 13. Responsible for studio and field production operations including directing, producing, staffing cameras, audio, running switching boards and mixers, green screen, lighting, live shoots, and managing broadcast feeds etc. 14. Responsible for post-production operations. 15. Assist with studio and field recordings as assigned. 16. Video editing. 17. On call duties as assigned. 18. Projects and other related duties as assigned.
