Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Program Administrator Supervisor for the School of Social Work. The Senior Program Administrator Superviso has the ability to lead operations that take place throughout the state and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position oversees all operational activities required to implement NJCWTP's learning events and educational activities by creating a work plan and processes that ensure high quality and efficient delivery of services.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Provides administrative and logistical direction to NJCWTP programming as guided by contract deliverables and stakeholders.
Develops workplans and for implementation of schedules and services provided, and oversees the planning and implementation of trainings and other special learning events.
Collaborates with state leadership to keep abreast of schedule changes, site needs, and potential conflicts.
Oversees updates to the learning management system and production of learning materials.
Oversee the process of selecting sites, processing requests for courses, and plans the operational aspects related to the delivery of new trainings and preparation of trainers to deliver content.
Plans for or guides direct reports on number of training/educational sessions to be scheduled, assignment of venues, course facilitators, as well as all materials and evaluation tools to be used.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Requires a bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
A minimum of five (5) years' experience that demonstrates knowledge of project management, administrative processes.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands; a valid driver's license would be required for this position.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with a great deal of independence and discretion and to keep sensitive matters confidential
Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks simultaneously and maintain calm under pressure
Ability to manage time and projects in order to complete work thoroughly and on time
Ability to interact effectively with very diverse people and with a wide range of stakeholders
Masters degree preferred
Seven (7) years' experience that demonstrates knowledge of project management, administrative processes
Prefer candidate with specialized experience in the following areas:
Experience in coordinating large scale training or education projects.
Must have working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software programs.
Strong capability of working autonomously to coordinate and provide effective decision making to meet project needs.
Desktop and laptop computers
MS Office software: word processing, database, project management, and spreadsheet applications
Expected to use and be familiar with copier machines, fax, and other office equipment
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
General office environment with light lifting.
