The Student Health Systems Analyst reports into the central technology organization and serves as the primary technical business analyst in support of the Health and Psychological Student Services (HAPSS) division. The Student Health Systems Analyst provides a variety of senior business support tasks in the areas of data analytics, business intelligence report development, process analysis, general application administration, project management, user training and general technical support with a strong awareness of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) compliance requirements.
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related area, and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
4 - 7 years of related experience.
Demonstrated experience administering an enterprise EMR solution.
Demonstrated experience in a HIPAA or FERPA regulated field.
Previous experience within a higher education institution.
Previous experience supporting a student health organization.
Valid Drivers License
