Our client, a tri-state (PA, WV, OH) provider of complete business communications and infrastructure solutions, is seeking a Security Technician to provide best in class service. Ideal candidates will have experience implementing, servicing, and maintaining security infrastructure including security access control panels, surveillance cameras, NVR Appliances, electronic locks, card readers, motion detectors, limit switches, all related control wiring, etc.
Responsible for daily project management and adhere to project timeline
Provide technical expertise on all projects and participate in special projects that may require work outside of regularly scheduled hours
Act as field representative on all jobs as assigned and ensure good customer service and quality of work
Install, program, maintain, and provide training on security system software
Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct problems with security systems and provide emergency maintenance as necessary
Attend all trainings and obtain all certifications as determined by management
Recommend, enforce, and ensure adherence to revised or existing internal standard operating procedures
Supervise any technicians in the field that may have been assigned for training purposes
Monitor and inspect installations, repairs, and overall quality of work and ensure compliance with specifications and standards
Ensure compatibility and effectiveness of implementations
Manage, monitor, inspect supply inventory, parts, and equipment, research and recommend new parts and equipment
One to four years of related experience with Security Access Control Systems, Video Surveillance Systems, or Electrical Circuitry is required. Genetec experience required.
Technical School or Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or appropriate certification are acceptable.
