Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Finance and Administration, the Grants and Contracts Administrator performs a multitude of finance, administrative and accounting related activities necessary for the management of NJTPA’s grants and contracts, while ensuring compliance with university (NJIT), Federal, State and local laws, regulations and funding requirements. Primary areas of responsibility include preparing, administering, managing and reporting the status of various federally and state funded contracts; monitoring contracts for regulatory, procedural and policy compliance; processing procurement and billing transactions; maintenance of financial accounts, documentation and record files; project management; and other related financial and administrative management activities as assigned.
Prerequisite Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related degree is required. Advanced college credit or degree may be substituted for experience. Minimum of three years of experience in contract/project management, accounting or financial administration, and procurement is required.
