This position will be a key member of the Office of the Registrar and will have varied duties that include:
Software development and implementation
User training for campus staff and faculty
Working with other Missouri schools for compliance of new programs at the state
This position will work closely with the assistant registrars to gain efficiencies in areas such as degree audit and planner, room reservations and scheduling of classes. This will require the candidate to be an outside-the-box thinker to develop more cohesive processing using current software.
Position will assist with data reporting and analysis on student enrollment, class utilization, course predication and various other student related requests.
As a member of the Registrar's Office this position will be responsible for maintaining our compliance with the MDHE requirement of Core 42 and all associated processing. This will include working with individuals at other Missouri universities along with staff at MDHE to ensure our compliance and answer any questions that students might have.
Position will be responsible for responding to all email submitted to and through the Registrar's Office email account.
Duties and Responsibilities
Database research (PeopleSoft/Cognos for example), reporting and analysis for university and external constituents.
Create enrollment reports as needed for the Registrar's Office as part of the data decisions. Committee.
Coordinate Core 42 processing which will include duties ranging from transfer credit, degree audit and the S&T degree mapper. Will also have to work closely with other Missouri schools and the Missouri Department of Higher Education to ensure S&T is compliant.
Project management of software implementations and drive efficiency with current software platforms. Including PeopleSoft, College Source, Course Leaf, College Scheduler and College Net
Will maintain the S&T Registrar's Office email account.
Process paperwork for the Honors course enrollment for S&T
Other duties as assigned
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Experience using technology to write/create queries and reports to provide statistical analysis Knowledge of various software programs such as PeopleSoft, Cognos, Golden are helpful.
Project management experience, education or certification.
Higher education experience.
Outgoing and friendly personality.
