The position is part of a larger team that includes other creative and design professionals, a digital strategist, writers and event planners.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGraphic DesignLayout for print, including event collateral, case statements, donor proposals, and forms, while adhering to established brand standards and design direction.Create new and edit existing PPT templates for fundraising presentations, events and other needs.Create new and edit existing Word templates for a variety of uses.Enhance and edit photographs, including color correction and photo cut-outs. Create art files for a variety of digital properties, including acceleratemed.org and a bi-monthly newsletter.Build HTML emails for use in digital marketing efforts using existing code.Assist with the building of the digital edition of UW Medicine magazine using WYSIWYG tools and existing code snippets.Provide brand review for print and digital materials created by fundraising and administrative support staff.Ensure that print and digital content meets established communication, branding, and accessibility guidelines.Stay current on the latest trends, issues, and advances in print and multimedia design.
