Reporting functionally to the Senior Manager - IT the Senior Internal Auditor – IT primary focus will be interchangeably supporting the documentation and evaluation of IT General Controls for Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) CEO/CFO Certification Program, supporting performing internal audit projects on the annual internal audit and supporting Data Analytics across all internal audit activity.
As the Senior Internal Auditor, IT, You Will Be Responsible For:
Support IT General Control evaluation requirements for CEO/CFO Certification as required by the Ontario Securities Act (Bill 198) and/or U.S. Sarbanes Oxley:
Assisting in preparing the ICFR IT General Controls annual risk assessment, scoping and plan
Assisting with key internal control identification and documentation
Proposing appropriate internal control test strategies
Executing internal control testing and related documentation
Supporting management in the development of remediation plans for control improvements
Support project management of IT General Controls
Assist in performing quality control reviews
Seamlessly work with and collaborate with CEO/CFO Certification Program Internal Audit leaders and team
Support “enterprise” and “store” internal audit projects, predominantly from an IT risk and control perspective:
Assist in planning and coordination on internal audit reviews
Executing internal audit project field work
Reporting on internal audit project results
Seamlessly work with and collaborate with Enterprise and Store Internal Audit leaders and team
Support data analytics across all internal audit activity by providing subject matter support and execution assistance as applicable
Maintaining relationships with HBC Internal Audit team members, third party internal audit service provider professionals that may be engaged, HBC management and staff and, external auditors
Contributing to other internal audit function initiatives as assigned

You Also Have:
CPA, CA or CMA designation or equivalent preferred
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred
3+ years auditing experience
Understanding of applying the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards and practices. Certified Internal Auditor designation (CIA) preferred
Experience with publicly listed companies required to comply with National Instrument 52-109 or U.S. Sarbanes Oxley 404/302
Demonstrated skills in client relationships, advisory and change management
Flexibility to perform out of town travel (5-10%)
