Full Time; Career Starting Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000/annually. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Involves providing a variety of IT services. Assignments may include database administration, application programming, IT project management, systems administration, systems and process analysis, security, solution development and maintenance, business technical support or a combination of these and / or other IT functions.
Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Provides direction to staff according to established policies and management guidance. Administers policies that directly affect subordinate staff. Recommends changes to department policies and practices. Identifies risks and responds accordingly. Provide priority setting and work flow analysis.
The Local IT Specialist Lead (LITS Lead), provides supervision, technical and project oversight for a team of LITS providing support to the administrative units and divisions. This position makes contributions in both individual and team contexts and within defined procedures and practices, determine appropriate actions. Requires the use of best practices, research, technical support, process development and project management. Leads team and works with various IT and campus groups towards solutions for the betterment and efficiency of the campus.
The LITS Lead (and team) are a group within the Client Services and Support unit of Information Technology Services. This team provides a wide variety of support for specialized systems, applications and hardware. Examples of work include developing a depth of knowledge necessary to participate in a peer review of law enforcement systems; understanding business processes and IT services sufficient to lead enterprise implementations; establishing, maintaining and improving client relations; surfacing new IT needs and aspirations of administrative units.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with an emphasis in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, or in a related field.
Requires ability to assess campus and customer needs for information technology products and design services to meet those needs.
Proven ability to work in teams and successfully lead teams.
Demonstrated ability to determine relevance and prioritize tasks.
Strong customer service orientation.
Selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check.
