This position will be responsible for the formulation of strategic and organizational development plans related to Rockwell Automations Manufacturing Operations. This position will be a critical support role for Manufacturing Operations leadership and will collaborate across Business Unit and Operations and Engineering Services in the formulation of initiatives.
A key outcome of this role will to formulate an integrated operations strategy with Rockwell Automations CPS segment. This will require working with RA's Services and Solutions businesses to define the optimal association with OES manufacturing facilities. In addition, this role will be expected to continually work to refine the required manufacturing footprint for our Engineer to Order businesses and ensure a roadmap for process integration is defined.
At an enterprise level, this role will define the long term capacity needs and footprint requirements for all Rockwell Automation manufacturing needs. This will require close alignment with BU objectives and understanding of broader supply chain considerations. This will mean building the team capabilities to perform this analysis. Objectives will be the definition of the network that will provide the required flexibility to meet further customer needs and achieve the lowest cost to serve.
This leadership role will be tasked with defining a work force development plan in the context of digital manufacturing operations. This includes determining critical skills and competencies, monitoring work force trends that will impact the operations organization. Expected outcomes, site specific workforce development plans and redefinition of key roles job architecture. In addition, ongoing organizational change management at all manufacturing sites in relation to adoption of RA Connected Enterprise technology continue to be deployed.
This role will also be responsible for creating Manufacturing Operations approach to data analytics and the optimal presentation and use of operations data at all levels of the organization. Defines team charter and ensures continual alignment of analytics team's efforts with strategic objectives Engages in collaboration and networking with manufacturing supply chain and business leaders to define the strategy for operationalizing and scaling analytics solutions
