The Department of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology (DMICE) has been awarded a PCORI grant valued at $8 million over 4 years. The project is large and complex and requires support to assist in patient peer reviewer engagement, evaluation of peer review processes, and quality improvement efforts. This position provides service directly to this project and is allowable by the Sponsor.
The Project Assistant provides part-time administrative support to the PCORI Peer Review project under the direction of the project manager. Duties include a variety of essential administrative and technical functions, including but not limited to implementing procedures and systems to ensure efficient project operations; carefully tracking information flows; ensuring program partners receive exceptional customer service; data extraction and synthesis; and writing, proofreading and editing scientific and lay materials. Occasional out-of-state travel will be required.
