Margaret West Breast Centers
Margaret West Breast Center currently provides comprehensive breast care and wellness services through three (3) Breast Center locations and a multi-disciplinary highly skilled team utilizing advanced technologies. Their centralized treatment team provides the continuity of care and personalized treatment paths from detection to the wellness journey.
West Cancer Breast Centers are dedicated to delivering the most innovative and progressive breast care which includes providing the highest quality screening technology, such as 3D digital tomosynthesis (TOMO).
Annual wellness screenings to diagnostic mammography and surgical therapy, the Margaret West Breast Center provides a full spectrum of multidisciplinary care for both breast wellness and the treatment of breast disease.
The Director of Breast Imaging will build and expand the breast focused radiology expertise for the Margaret West Comprehensive Breast Center (“WEST”), and establish high quality, evidence-based breast radiology practices.
Will recruit high performing breast focused radiologists as required; develop and enhance educational programs for medical students, residents and multidisciplinary fellowships; expand patient care programs and resources; and expand clinical trials and other academic and research focused activities.
Responsible for developing a unique hybrid breast program that integrates the breast imaging expertise with the breast surgeons to provide the patient with high quality integrated care.
Assess and assist in the treatment planning of patients with cancer utilizing evidence- based medicine protocols and NCCN standards of treatments while collaborating with the WEST treatment protocols.
Responsible for building a high performing breast radiology division designed to enhance the effectiveness and quality of the screening and breast diagnostic radiology across the WEST System. In addition, responsible for enhancing breast related interventional services in cooperation with the breast surgery department.
Board Certification in Radiology required; MD or DO degree from LCME or AOA accredited schools.
Completed an ACGME accredited Radiology Residency and Fellowship in Radiology and at least 5 years of successful clinical experience.
Proven ability to forge relationships with researchers, clinicians, administrators, and staff.
Experienced in attracting, recruiting and retaining top clinical talent.
Demonstrated success in building teams and coalitions across an organization with affiliated partnerships through relationship building and using influence.
