The Physician Referral Liaison (Physician Network Development Spec 4) has the responsibility for development and management of strategic referral relationships that drive business to UC Davis Health. The Physician Referral Liaison supports overall growth strategies within their assigned geography. Serves as the primary point of contact for the external referring audiences. Markets the clinical enterprise, writes sales and growth plans, responds to referral issues, identifies needs of referral sources, and reports findings to appropriate departments and health system leadership. Represents UC Davis Health to several of its most demanding market segments in a responsible, mature and responsive manner.REQUIRED--Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field and/or five years customer relationship management or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. --Relevant experience in the healthcare industry --Advanced experience in strategic planning, building relationships and networking . --Advanced experience with project management concepts and procedures. --Solid experience and skills to develop and initiate tactical plans in increasing market growth --Extensive experience in data analysis --Excellent written and verbal communication skills. --Familiarity with medical terminology, medical treatments, with ability to engage in medical discussions with physicians. --Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. --Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the UC Davis Health tem and the Department of Public Affairs in a professional manner in the conduct of highly visible work --Ability to apply state and federal laws, university policies, and professional standards to all institutional communications that represent the health system and its various academic, clinical and research enterprises. --Ability to travel extensively throughout the inland Northern California area, including some travel into Nevada.
