Job Summary: The Copywriter will be responsible for Hana's brand voice across all types of media (i.e. marketing collateral, social media, website, white papers, presentation decks, etc.) and audiences (i.e. consumers, occupiers (businesses) and developers/owners, etc.).
The ideal copywriter understands the intricacies of wordsmithing for a variety of audiences. They know how to craft something as simple and consumer-facing as a great tagline or as complex and industry-facing as a white paper.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Act as one of the brand stewards on Hana's in-house creative team, adhering to brand architecture and enforcing brand guidelines at every turn (with support of supervisor)
Translate creative brand strategies into engaging and meaningful copy.
Write for multiple formats, including emails, ad campaigns, presentations, whitepapers, websites, and social media channels.
Collaborate with product and design team to provide content that brings visual elements to life. This includes both digital materials and Hana elements within the workspaces.
Collaborate with marketing teams on programs to drive new customers, revenue, and add value to the Hana experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Will work closely with a variety of teams across the organization.
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree, plus 3-5 years of copywriting experience
Proven project management competencies, effective marketing communications samples, and superior verbal communication skills.
Communication Skills: Solid presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to upper management and internal departments.
Able to seamlessly build trust across organizations by being a good listener and soliciting input and feedback.
Financial Knowledge: Understands and signs up for success metric, viewing them as a key driver of motivation for a team.
Reasoning Ability: Takes an innovative, entrepreneurial approach to any issues that may arise.
Flexible and thinks outside the box.
Relationship builder who is comfortable working with a variety of people and functions– engineering, analytics, customer service, design, operations, executives, functional stakeholders, parent company leaders and others.
