About Global Markets Technology Risk & Control
The Risk and Control team is the main point of contact for Risk, Audit, Security, and Regulatory issues within the CIB Global Markets Technology organization.
It is our mission it to lead the CIB Global Markets Technology through the Risk Management Book of work and actively manage the risk profile of the Domain. This covers application security, internal audit, risk management, DR, external audit and regulatory driven work.
This role will be to develop Risk and Control Tableau Dashboard covering all control uplift programs. The team member is responsible for delivering in the following areas:
Engage with the Risk and Control Leads and control owners to understand the requirements needed for the Tableau dashboard Develop the existing Risk and Control Tableau Dashboard to incorporate new requirements and enhancements as defined by the Program Manager Engage with the respective Technology product owners of the underlying source systems from which Risk and Control Tableau dashboard pulls data to understand any upcoming changes to these source systems and escalate any issues encountered Provide ongoing maintenance on the existing Tableau dashboard, which includes access requests, recertification, etc Investigate any reported or self-identified issues with the dashboard In addition to the development skills, this role will also require strong program/project management skills, collaborative and communication skills Responsibilities:
Working closely with the respective Business and Technology stakeholders as appropriate in the build out and continuous enhancement and maintenance of the Tableau Dashboard Ability to take the existing Tableau dashboard from its current state to the desired end state as detailed by the provided requirements Ability to troubleshoot and resolve reported or self-identified issues within the Tableau dashboard Ability to engage with the appropriate Technology product owners to report and see through to resolution any issues with the underlying source systems feeding Tableau dashboard Experience:
Experience as Tableau developer Ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples) Define, execute and interpret complex/nested SQL queries, establish standards and best practices for dashboards and related technologies Manage a repository of re-usable data visualization templates and views Looking for opportunities to improve current processes or find efficiencies by applying industry best practices Draws upon a full range of Tableau features to design, develop, enhance and support Tableau visualizations including, but not limited to, highly interactive dashboards, scorecards and reports Serves as an Expert developer of Tableau visualizations Clearly communicating and driving discussions on data and insights, context, and implications with business stakeholders Ability to create test and deployment plans to work through the implementation of reports and dashboards built within Tableau Ability to communicate issues, status, and progress on assigned tasks to direct management and to a project manager Advanced Excel and database query knowledge The ability to comfortably work in a change environment that is not fully defined within a fast paced environment Attention to detail, ability to summarize key points and identify the root cause of an issue Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box Self-Starter and the ability to structure deliverables and prioritize work independently Maturity and persuasiveness to engage in business dialogue and support stakeholders Identify and interpret stakeholders needs and requirements.
