Lasell College seeks a versatile and entrepreneurial administrator to oversee all aspects of its new, innovative reduced-cost bachelor's degree program called Lasell Works. Students in this program pay declining tuition over four years; they live off-campus during their sophomore year and work at a part time job, while taking online courses. Since this is a new and high-priority initiative, it presents an opportunity for an innovative individual to play a leadership role in developing an exciting program that can have a tremendous impact on the College.
The Director will oversee activities designed to help students succeed in the program and efforts to recruit new students to the program. In collaboration with the Career Development Center, the Director will develop partnerships with companies and organizations to employ students in the Lasell Works program and to provide internship and career opportunities for all Lasell students. Additional specific responsibilities include collaborating with Admissions on recruiting and outreach to prospective high school students and their families; collaborating with professional academic advisors in supporting students in the program over four years and connecting them with resources on and off campus; working with the Teaching & Learning Center to provide support for teaching and learning in an online environment; working with faculty and academic administrators to facilitate and develop the curriculum; researching grant opportunities, writing grant applications, and managing grants; developing and managing the program budget; coordinating all internal and external communication regarding Lasell Works and the students enrolled in the program.
