This position will serve as Supervisor for the MakerSpace locted at the University of Pittsburgh's Manufacturing Assistance Center.
The position will serve as a resource to assist the public with projects ranging from entrepreneurship to repair, invention to art and design. The MakerSpace Supervisor will serve as the creative technologists to assist patrons in utilizing digital fabrication tools, digital media production and related equipment and software offered in the space. Facilitators help connect patrons with resources as well as other institutions, organizations and opportunities in the community to help achieve their goals.
The Supervisor will work closely with the MAC Manager to plan, implement, evaluate and oversee all aspects of the MakerSpace, including programming, outreach, budget, procurement and long term planning.
