As part of the UTO, this Product Coordinator position will contribute to the effective integration, deployment and management of platforms that support Faculty Hiring and Reporting.
You will be working closely with Project Managers and other Product Owners to implement products and services. Your experience leading in a diverse matrixed organization and with diverse products will be an asset to this role. You will act as a point of contact and serve as the conduit between the customer community including faculty, administrators, and vendors as well as the IT development team. You will serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams (including IT security), and other support teams. You will identify and help coordinate assignments of internal and external resources to meet department and project goals.

As a Product Advocate, responsible for understanding and communicating the customer needs and developing product vision, providing rapid feedback to technology team; steers projects to ensure delivery of business value including KPI’s.
Prioritizes customer requests based on technology product vision, strategy, end-user value and resolution of defects/bugs.
Manages the creating, maintaining, prioritizing and sequencing backlog, communicating to both internal/external teams, improving transparency and radiating information.
Represents products to customers and executive leadership.
Manages the relationship with the vendor and helps direct training efforts
Oversees/maintains documentation of the applications and is the definitive knowledge source for the history and future of a technology product.
Works with stakeholders to develop strong relationships to secure and maintain optimal working relationships.
Collaborates with UI/UX team, product development team, and business leaders to establish goals.
Provides supervision, direction and support to team members.
Develops and maintains standards for testing and progress visibility, reporting on milestones; advocates/negotiates additional resources as appropriate to ensure achievement of objectives consistent with requestor's expectations/needs.
BA/BS Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing or related field AND 3 years product/program management, project management, management consulting OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Evidence of a background in Business Analysis, Software Development and Implementation and Project Management.
Demonstrated knowledge of education publication platforms and data.
Demonstrated knowledge of education identity management, such as ORCID.
Demonstrated knowledge of data mapping and metadata transformation practices.
Demonstrated knowledge of management and supervisory principles and practices.
Demonstrated knowledge of web design, mobile applications and software development
Demonstrated knowledge of higher education administrative systems and related business principles, methods and procedures
Demonstrated knowledge of SaaS business systems and integrations experience (Cloud, AWS)
Demonstrated knowledge of Release Management best practices.
Demonstrated knowledge of the various principles, practices, methods, and techniques of project management and/or business analysis
Experience in creating and delivering presentations to senior stakeholders
Experience with in-depth analysis in interpreting analytics data, formulating conclusions and developing analysis based strategies.
Experience in developing business cases and writing logical, detailed and complete requirements/functional specifications.
Experience in building strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts, UI/UX team, QA team, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders
Experience in collaborating and reaching consensus in a high paced environment
Experience in working in an environment subject to tight deadlines, potentially quickly changing and conflicting priorities
Experience in managing software development life cycle from requirements to delivery on projects that include new product versions and enhancements.
Experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships.
Experience in communicating well with others and performing work in a team environment.
Experience in leading by example in communicating, participating and encouraging support of the institution's sustainability programs.
Use PC and use hand/fingers for repetitive motion (keyboarding/typing)
