Work with customers and IT teams to develop requirements, maintain application configuration, test, support and provide expert analysis for the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Financials module.
ERP Business Analyst-PeopleSoft Campus Solutions-Student Financials interacts with the user community to gather and document business requirements, conduct process analysis and draft conceptual design. Work with the campus user community to design, configure, and manage the Student Financials application module based on business specifications using the PeopleSoft developer's toolset (PeopleTools). Perform data mapping, conversion testing and end-user/training documentation. Provide user assistance and direction for ad hoc data reporting and, as needed, develop reports using the PeopleSoft and Oracle reporting toolset. Assess the impact of PeopleSoft updates and provide proposals for applying them effectively. Lead campus users in completing user acceptance testing and develop/enhance testing scripts. Work with campus users and IT members on a routine basis to troubleshoot reported problems pertaining to application software. Identify the cause, design or develop an approach for resolution, and, upon approval, work to implement the correction. Be the functional lead in ad-hoc projects for the university as needed for Student Financials. Provide backup support for other Campus Solutions modules as needed.
Bachelor degree with coursework in computing or information systems and five (5) years of progressively responsible PeopleSoft Campus Solutions support and analysis experience; or the equivalent experience. Strong understanding and application of project management disciplines. Strong understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle , specifically related to ERP application support and development Strong MS Office skills (Word,Excel). Familiar with relational database concepts. Excellent organization, teamwork, problem-solving, presentation,customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills.Ability to work well with all organizational levels.
Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Seven plus years of experience maintaining, configuring, and testing systems with a combination of: 4 + years extensive experience in systems analysis,design,and testing; 4+ years of PeopleSoft Financial Management System Application experience (version 8.8 or greater); 2 years of SQL Plus or general reporting; 4+ years of developing business requirements; and 2+ years of testing experience (including script development and planning).
