Leveraging your education in Science, Engineering, or Business Administration and your experience in Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and/or Finance/Controlling, you will provide support in all aspects of business development at the national level to ensure the consistent and correct implementation of agreed strategies, policies and practices such as pricing, product and market management/ development and decide on the allocation of products according to changes in profitability between the sub-regions. This entails constant budget review and the use of your sharp decision-making skills to make decisions in situations of product shortage.
Demonstrating your experience in developing and implementing strategies, you will develop regional product strategies for the product or market segment in conjunction with Technical Service, the National sales team and Global team. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and implementing the regional pricing strategy for the assigned products.
Your strong business and financial acumen will be essential as you plan and determine regional budgets in collaboration with national and global teams, monitor the consolidated budget and the results for the assigned products, and monitor and control the achievement of long-term targets and initiate correction measures.
Your proven experience in all aspects of product positioning, pricing, promotion and portfolio management will be essential as you conduct price positioning for the products in the region/countries and industry segments (e.g. setting list price, expected price and fall back price), analyze the cost structures of assigned products and external market competitiveness to recommend the price bands, and conduct a monthly review of the price bands and profitability targets as described by CCM1.
Successfully engaging across the business, you will participate in Global Margin Management and Pricing team activities, liaise with the Product Planner to ensure implementation of agreed product flow, and contribute to investment projects (if needed).
Utilizing your strong initiative and creativity, you will collate and monitor the regional market intelligence network (including pricing information, capacities, competitors' products, market share, costs etc.)
Your robust problem-solving and effective communication skills will be valued assets as you make recommendations on the technical and product assistance needs in the regional markets and interface with regional / global technical team to support customers.
Your strong analytical, strategic, and organizational skills will be vital as you provide input of business trends and customer requirements, conduct portfolio management and product & market segmentation, and own full responsibility for the product cost position in connection to strategic marketing and controlling. Additionally, you will provide strategy recommendations and execute implementation actions.
