We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst in the Atlanta, GA, Washington, DC, or New York, NY offices at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals, and staff.
The Business Analyst will work closely with internal customers and clients across many areas of our business to define and manage requirements for several concurrent initiatives. They will be involved in managing these through the full lifecycle of delivery.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Have a thorough understanding of the full analysis process:
Identifying project benefits
Requirements elicitation and management
Business change management
Requirements tractability to business benefits
Input into testing
Facilitating user acceptance testing
Work with the Lead BA/Project Manager to determine the analysis approach to take.
Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including clients.
Experience working with third parties.
Experience in a variety of software development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
Influence stakeholders and decision-making.
Identify and develop initiatives to improve business performance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems or other computer related field from an accredited college or university.
Certification in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) preferred.
Must have five to seven years of experience working in a similarly sized, multi-office legal or professional services organization.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite with proficiency in Outlook are required.
