Directly oversees a team of technology professionals and projects focusing on information systems activities, including design, development and administration of applications or operation of voice, network, server, and desktop environments. Manages multiple projects or initiatives. Assists in the development of information system strategies. Proactively identifies areas for improvement and initiates the appropriate action.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage, coach, and/or train team members from Digital and Technology or business-facing groups
Manage the execution of multiple programs, and ensure that all risks and issues are being properly identified and actions are being taken to closure
Provide insight in the business domain as relevant to the project being managed; will demonstrate how common business functions (e.g. finance, supply chain, sales, and marketing) work; will dissect business functions and processes to understand objectives, inputs and outputs, and core activities
Provide insight in technology and innovation as relevant to the project being managed; will demonstrate familiarity with common industry solutions such as ERP, CRM, SFA, etc.; experience in implementing modern product development practices (agile, design thinking)
Develop various forms of written communications – status reports, Steering Committee reports, etc.; lead facilitation and preparations for meetings with senior executives
Create the structure for assigned programs and ensure that all required dimensions (e.g. technology, business, change management, marketing, etc.) are considered so the program is set-up for success
Ensure programs are measured against true sources of value – this will include not only focusing on on-time and on-budget program delivery, but more importantly, focusing on realizing the benefits committed
Lead the development of business cases with clearly identified benefit commitments and how and when these will be achieved
Coordinate the periodic review of programs and their underlying technology products which includes looking at key quarterly outcomes, performance metrics, and state of capital projects
Drive innovation in the program management domain by identifying new tools, templates, concepts, and other techniques that result in better and more transparent program control
Performs other duties as assigned.
Provides formal supervision to individual employees who are members of the assigned project team. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor for projects. Prepares and delivers performance feedback for project team members, and reports to team members' direct managers. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of six to ten years of related experience and/or training, including 2-3 years of management level experience.
