Under the supervision of the Principal Program Manager for BAS Programs in the IBIT Division, under general direction of the Dean, and in collaboration with the Assistant Dean/Program Chair(s), the Program Manager organizes and provides supportive management functions for the Associate Degrees in Information Systems, Robotics & AI, and Networking Services & Computing Systems; and Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Systems and Technology in accordance with divisional and program guidelines. The Program Manager provides information about the program to prospective students, guides current students through the program, and tracks program data and finances.
This position is also responsible for program marketing, making operational recommendations, and providing requested support to the Program Chair(s) in addition to providing support to the faculty and students to achieve success in an environment that upholds diversity and pluralism.

ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL DUTIES
Student Guidance and Recruitment Functions
Guides prospective students by providing them with accurate information regarding program, admission process, prerequisites, works with evaluations and the program chair with unofficial transcript reviews, financial aid, and student services.
Provides continued guidance and works with current students to create, maintain, and update educational plans and goals including monitoring student retention. Assists students with other needs to facilitate their success in the program.
Organizes informational sessions and special events.
Monitors and implements a student retention plan; coordinates with Student Services as necessary.
Creates, develops, compiles and writes communications and promotional/marketing literature for distribution such as newsletters, brochures, flyers, website and social media; coordinates process from development through printing and distribution.
Management and Operations Functions
Works with the Program Chair(s) and faculty for curriculum updates in the system, and scheduling.
Collects and tracks general student and program data that is used for program planning, assessing effectiveness, enrollment projections and state reporting; coordinates with other stakeholders as needed
Coordinates graduation and employer surveys and/or exit interviews.
Tracks and prepares reports on the program budgets, expenditures, class fees & costs, AP processes, travel and reimbursements. Collaborates with Program Chair(s) to facilitate administrative, faculty and student needs.
Organizes advisory meetings; attends and records meeting minutes.
Uses word processing, spreadsheet, publishing, presentation, website and database programs.
Maintains document management system (i.e. SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) for the programs.
Performs related duties as required.
Bachelor's degree - OR - equivalent combination of educational and work experience, such as Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience
Two years of experience in a capacity that involves customer service, and experience in one or more of the following, finance management, marketing, recruiting, organizing work flow, implementing policies and procedures
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Web tools (e.g. Word Press)
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Effective organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills
Experience working independently or as part of a team, characterized by a high level of acceptance, cooperation and mutual regard
Ability to recognize opportunities for creative problem solving while staying within the parameters of good practice; generates unique, workable, and useful solutions to difficult problems
Experience working effectively with diverse groups of people from multiple cultural backgrounds and differing points of view
Must be able to work an occasional alternate schedule, such as evenings or weekends
Experience working in project/program management
Experience working in higher education
Knowledge of any aspect of IT or IT Industry
This is a project position for 2 years with possibility for continued employment. This position is exempt from relocation allowance.
