The Kenan-Flagler Business School, located at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is a top 20 ranked professional business school. The Admissions IT specialist will serve as the primary technical liaison to the Undergraduate, MBA and MAC admissions programs and serves as the subject matter expert on technology for the Slate admissions system. This position will be responsible for tasks related to the technical design, implementation, support/maintenance of Slate and other Admissions related systems. This position consults with the admissions business team to define detailed requirements, analyzes current and future business needs, develops and implements new system enhancements, works with multiple constituencies, and serves as the project manager for any enhancements or updates to Slate.
Education and Experience:
Successful applicants will have a proven ability and professional history of outgoing, flexible, positive working relationships and service for customers, and with colleagues. Demonstrated ability to work in high volume and high stress situations, and proven ability to multi-task, with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to complete and plan operational tasks, as well as strong time management, and organizational skills. Background in data and data administration and experience/technical knowledge of admissions Customer Relations Management software is strongly preferred. In particular, experience and technical knowledge of Technolutions Slate CRM is preferred. Experience and knowledge of higher education admissions lifecycle and project management techniques is preferred.
