FUND INFORMATION ANALYST , Office of the Recording Secretary , to provide leadership, oversight, and quality assurance for the accurate acceptance and recording of major gifts (above $100k in value) to the Institute as part of the director of gift administration and recording secretary's team. Will ensure proper documentation for endowment funds and clarity of use; and work across the directorate's three functional areas--gift accounting, gift operations, and funds information--to ensure all aspects of institutional information are captured and formally recorded in accordance with donor intent.
REQUIRED : at least five years' professional experience in gift administration, accounting, financial analysis, governance of charitable funds, and/or nonprofit operations; bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in business administration or related field; two years' experience working with databases and/or data processing; familiarity with SQL or other programming languages; at least one year of experience delivering customer service; advanced-level knowledge of Excel and strong comfort level using MS Word and Outlook; ability to think strategically, work with multiple resources to problem solve, track multiple deadlines, and follow-through; meticulous attention to detail; strong organizational and verbal and written communication skills; ability to form partnerships with a variety of constituencies and act as a resource for guiding them through a complex administrative/financial landscape; discretion with confidential information; initiative; and flexibility/adaptability in an emerging and changing environment. Familiarity with Ellucian CRM Advance or similar fund-raising database; experience with BrioQuery, database querying, and data manipulation tools; experience developing policies and procedures in a legal or fund-raising context; experience with project management; and professional experience in a higher education or nonprofit environment are preferred.
